Hi,
after I had some technical difficulties yesterday and was not able to disconnect properly, but instead had to force quit X-Plane, my callsign still shows online on the live map and the PE client also does not let me connect using that callsign. It says it is already in use. Is there anything I can do about this? (N679HB)
Thanks,
Henrik

Ah, I see. I have the same problem.

Tip: you can use a different callsign if you want to go flying online right now, but that's obviously a temporary solution.

Re: Callsign stuck online after problems
I know I can do that, which is what I did last night. It is just that it would be great if this got fixed at some point. Not only for my sake, but Keith probably doesn't want too many "ghost" panes on the network, either. Any maybe there is something I can do about this myself - just in case it happens again...

Re: Callsign stuck online after problems
Looks like it is fixed now. Haven't tried to log on with my callsign, but it doesn't show up on the live map anymore. I will try later...

Re: Callsign stuck online after problems
restarted this morning. There was an issue with the web server yesterday brief which likely prevented logouts from happening properly. We handle most unexpected disconnects properly but there are a niggling case which remains that results in a still connection which we can't cleanly remove with the current design. I'll be working on it when I can.
