I apologize if this has been answered already but I could not seem to find it.

I have always assumed you need to fly with real weather on Pilotedge. Last night I tried my first flight but the VFR conditions were marginal and I really could not stay out of the clouds. Is it allowed to fly with custom weather?

You’re allowed to fly with whatever weather you want. However, I wouldn’t recommend tampering with the wind very much as that may change the preferred runways. If you are using your own weather, I’d recommend putting “custom weather” in your remarks and even stating it when you call for taxi otherwise you’ll get questioned when you’re asking for pattern work and it’s solid IMC.

There will be some specific procedures for custom weather handling that will be announced when the ATIS launches soon. Hang in there. In the mean time, Kevin's solution stands.
