Altitude restriction arrival

Quick question, I was cleared for the IRNMN2 arrival to LAX and asked to 'descend via the arrival'. My cruise altitude was FL230, but the arrival says that at CROWY I have to be btw 260 and 290. Should I climb to FL260? Should I ask center first?

I ended up asking the controller, who canceled the altitude restriction at CROWI. I am always amazed at how good ATC is in PE...

The controller shouldn’t have to cancel the altitude there. Your instruction is to DESCEND VIA. That does not permit you to climb at all. If you are already below a window, you ignore those altitudes and comply with the first applicable window.
