Turboprop and turbojet aircraft can now pick up IFR clearances digitally through CPDLC! More info here! https://pilotedge.net/cpdlc

The capability is limited to clearance delivery only for now but will soon be expanded to include enroute operatons as well.

Looks good Keith, but I wish I could have utilized the FSLabs PDC + CPDLC all incorporated in the MCDU. But of course that means that other non Hoppie users would be left out in the cold, so this meets all needs.
A great addition to the Pilotedge services, thank you.

It's early days, Merv. The product is open source and we're working with other network and payware devs regarding the integration options. The long term vision is pretty much what one would hope it would be :)

Quick note, the C208 and KODI aircraft are technically turboprops however they are classified as type 'Q' for TEC route purposes rather than type 'M' (normally associated with turboprops). As a result, our system doesn't consider them to be turboprop aircraft for CPDLC purposes.

The server will be updated on Thursday morning to add exceptions for C208/KODI aircraft types to allow them to take part.
