Another newbie question about weather.

Post by Doug Adomatis »

Just to be sure I'm doing this correctly. I'm using x-plane. And before take off, I should configure the weather settings to use real-time conditions. What I'm not so sure about is whether those real-time conditions keep up with the aircraft's location. For example, on CAT-02, before I take off from L88, I refresh the real-time weather which will update the weather conditions at my current location. Now, when I'm approaching KSBP do I need to do anything with my weather settings so that my weather conditions are the same as the weather conditions being reported on the ATIS?

No, it will update automatically. In the future, please post in the appropriate sub forum. We have an X-plane specific sub forum.
