PE Comm through Headset

Post by JWPE »

I'm running P3D and wondering if there's a trick to have the game sound come out my speakers but the PE sound come through a USB headset? I see in the client the selection for sound input/output is disabled, so didn't know if there's another way to do this.

PE uses the default device at the operating system level (at least until the next release). Set your OS-level default device to be your headset. Then, tell P3D to use the speakers as the playback device. Done.

That makes sense, just opposite of what I was thinking. I'll give it a try and will subscribe over the next few weeks.
