PilotEdge Receiver Sound Output

Post by Frank White »

I get a kick out of monitoring the PilotEdge network via the Pilotedge receiver. However, whenever I use my Oculus VR headset, which is rarely because I can't read the instruments as well (and I get motion sickness occasionally), the PE receiver change the sound output to the Oculus headset. This setting seems to persist. The way I found to change it is to go to the sound control panel in Windows and verify that the speakers are set to default.

I'm posting this because I searched for this solution and couldn't find it.

The Receiver uses the default communications device if one is listed. Otherwise it uses the default device. It's the same as the pilot clients (except they have an override capability).
