I gave it some thought about a good interactive flight and I came up with this for Sunday night

POTUS (president of the United States) is going to fly from Tucson International (KTUS) to Los Angeles (KLAX) on Monday night, and needs fighter escorts for the trip. (or you can fly the VP in a second heavy aircraft.)

Flight time approx 1.5 hours
Join up online at 1830mst Tucson Time (0130 zulu I think it is)
Wheels up by 1900mst
Radio Frequency: Start @ KTUS on 123.45

Route of flight: KTUS to Gila Bend VOR to Vicko to Blythe VOR to Palm Springs to Riverside VOR to KLAX rwy25L
This route is easiest if you use an IFR map
Altitude 26k
Speed 400kts

This is a nice instrument flight in the dark over remote terrain with very few visual cues using IFR airways and VORs for navigation. All pilots are welcome to join, either at KTUS or enroute.

Flight went ok, rolled into some weather outside of Palm Springs. No one showed up to escort me fromTucson :( so I flew it solo. Fortunately I didn't get jumped by any Migs. So other than having to reboot mid-flight to recover my USB controller, the flight went ok. Now it's time to go catch the season finale of Survivor.

Sorry fellas,

I wasn't able to participate last night, just too much Christmas stress, (Lets just say hole in the ceiling ok). I'll work on logging in in the near future.

JollyRoger, what kind of group or interactive flying are you interested in? (Others can post responses too)

I was going to post something for wed or fri but was curious what people were interested in doing. I have a kc10 in my collection but not sure if PE would render the drogue.

I would be interested in some formation flights, work on a standard v formation. My screen is wide enough that I can handle one without much panning around or hat clicking.
What're y'all interested in?
