Hey Bruce,

No worries about Long Beach. I'll even admit that last time I flew the southbound mini-route I almost scraped the LGB D with my left wing tip. The corridor between the TOA and LGB Deltas is extremely narrow and very easy to mess up. Once you're passed the Hawthorne and 495 Freeway (VPLSR) it's safe to resume your own navigation and avoid those airpsaces!

Ergo Bruce, my apologies to SoCal Approach!

I had a blast, notwithstanding, and look forward to the next one!

FYI - I did all flights with X-Plane 9.70 and TrackIR. I won't say they lifted me into the sweetness of Suspension of Disbelief, but tonight after hearing and watching 3KT depart KSNA for Ontario, I was somewhat disoriented when I heard Mr. Smith running John Wayne TWR! No kidding. My mind actually "followed" him to KONT via the controller's bleed-over transmissions, so it (my mind) was disoriented to hear him instantly broadcasting from John Wayne. Hmm... maybe I need to get out more? :geek:

405 The Movie

I know it is dated, but it is still mostly good (and fun), especially when you recall it was all done with off-the-shelf software and some imagination by a couple of folks.

@Kieth - ...and no, this is not a suggestion for an event.

I'd actually realised what I had done just as you called me. My brain was a bit slow to compute, the quickest way out was to climb 400ft. Next time!
