Sounds a bit like "Field of Dreams"

An Iowa corn farmer, hearing voices, interprets them as a command to build a baseball diamond in his fields; he does, and the Chicago Black Sox come.

I'd love to catch up with you sometime soon on DTP and just go over how you normally run things and we can just mirror that for the PST weekly.

Brett, I'll be happy to help in any way I can.
We just tend to keep it very informal, float a suggested route, set about individually planning said route, if anyone gets stuck help out.
Keep it simple & just have fun!

Update: Our family was able to acquire two more computers for pilots, so the WFF has a potential presence of 7 pilots (adults and young children) now. It just all depends how things work out here. After discussing this further with my family, here is a list of our present availability.

SUN - Nope, this is and has always been reserved for our family.
MON - My date night with my wife, but still allows a potential of 5 pilots still at home.
TUE - No, Keith's training.
WED - Open.
THU - Open after 1900 PST.
FRI - Open
SAT - Open

Maybe this is too late, but our schedules have changed a little.

Hi Bruce, for clarity, do we all start at the same DEP/ARV airports?

Yes, that way we can cause the most grief for the controllers lol.
If you have a large numbers then to avoid delays it would be an idea to consider some departing as scheduled & some departing the "destination" fields, that way it maximises traffic on a single route

believe it or not, given a choice of 10 aircraft departing one field, or 10 aircraft spread across two fields, the way we staff right now, 10 aircraft at a single field would actually be easier from an ATC perspective. This is only true with current staffing, and up until a point, of course. If we opt to add more staffing, then spreading to a 2nd field will help.

Hey all,
Just wanted to quickly touch base and let everyone know I'm a bit behind on working on this. I've been down with the flu for a day and a half. Once I get healthy I will get moving on this again.

Sorry for the delay.

No worries, Brett. Get well soon!

Turns you you could create the poll all along. I just checked the permissions. You can edit your original post to include a poll (it's one of the tabs at the bottom of the screen, "Poll creation", and is only an option on the first post in a thread), or you could create a new thread if you prefer.

Poll is posted. Let me know if there are any options I missed. I opted to only offer 7pm or 8pm start times as 9+pm gets too late to start for some.

Looking forward to flying with you all!
