So you would put 123.45 on COM2... and communicate with PE ATC on COM1 as normal?
-Cyrus Kapadia. A few RW hours in a C172, then a 15 year hiatus. Joined PE in Dec'12, then took a break. Now I'm back, learning fast and loving it. If I'm on, it's usually between 22h and midnight EST with Baron 258E, Skyhawk 176CM or Learjet 66L.

That's how I do it, or simply run it on COM 1 until I need to switch to ATC or Unicom.
Thanks,

Oh I see. You're talking about chit chat on the ground, i.e. before calling up ATC for clearance/taxi/whatever.

So I take it there isn't much side chatter during the flights then? (probably a good thing)

Gotcha. I'm going to install TS then, so I can join in the "crap" talk.

Talking b.s. is what I'm good at, anyway. Just ask my family .

Lance,
Is there a way Keith could suspend the flock of Barons at KSZP for the day. There are six or seven of them in and out of Santa Paula all at the same time. It does make sense as CP Aviation school has four 150's, one 152, four 172's, two Citabria's, two Decathlon's, an RG182 and a Pitts. I got my PPL and EMT there. Good place to learn to keep your eyes out of the cockpit.
Thank's
Roger

Can we just pretend they aren't there? That's how I normally do it, LOL! Oh wait, was that my outside voice?
Thanks,

Lance, I'm confused about the time. You wrote:

"Wheels Up: 23:00z (4:00 PM PDT)"

but you also wrote:

"Jump on Teamspeak by 23:50 zulu if you can so we can be ready to depart by 00:00 zulu."

Isn't "wheels up" the same time as you're departing?? Either way, if I can join, it probably won't be towards the very end. But I just thought this clarification might help others.

Copy and paste got me there Cyrus. 22:50 should be for teamspeak. I'll correct that now.
Thanks,
Lance
