4-5 April, 1900-2200z — CTAF days at L19-KBFL
Ok, here is the deal.
This Saturday and Sunday, 4-5 April, 1900-2200UTC — CTAF days at L19-KBFL
Starting from L19 and working in the pattern there, then going for T&G to KBFL and then back to L19.
Full CTAF communication is required at and nearby L19 — from initial taxi to runway clearance after landing.
L19:
A/FD — note the traffic pattern altitude.
KBFL:
A/FD
Airport Diagram
Suggested route from L19 to KBFL and back: at SkyVector.
The event is mostly for novice pilots who are making first steps in PE environment, but all others who'd like to de-rust their CTAF skills at small airfields are welcome too.
If anyone needs an example transcript of all required communications, let me know. They are pretty simple.

Free fuel for FSE users at L19 FBO during the event

This is a great idea for newbies like myself, thanks for doing it. Unfortunately I have family in this weekend and can't make it. Maybe I can catch another in the future.

Could you clarify the schedule a bit?
Is it simply of joining sometime between "1900z-2200z" and flying some pattern work, then to KBFL and back, or will it be organized to fly together, and then back, over the radio?

My thought was just to invite pilots to fly at specified time and place. No additional instructions or coordination is intended during the event.
As for myself, I'll be online and flying 1900z-2200z both days with few small breaks maybe. Hope to see as many other pilots as possible - in the both patterns (L19 and KBFL) or just visiting these airfields during the event time.
So, yes - just join and leave the party any time you want.

That was a lot of fun. Really have to keep your situational awareness up with lots of aircraft in the pattern. Had a couple of technical issues so had to stop but definitely a good idea.

Yeh, looking for traffic makes a big distraction. Did several stupid things while looking around.
Thanks for all those who participated! Will be glad to see you all tomorrow so we could do a more organized fly-in to KBFL and buzz the tower a bit

Still on the field if anyone want's to practice.
