I finally got around to connect, though a bit late to the party at around 1415 UTC, when my mother in law decided to stop by. :D So unfortunately, I couldn't join the bunch.

Hopefully next time!

That was a blast. Thanks, Jiva, for organizing it.

For those who are curious, we started with a few laps at KBWC right after sun-up, then flew up to KCLR for pattern work there, then made our way via various routes to Borrego Valley L08 for pattern work that included some learjet drones flying the pattern, and then finished with short-field landings at Borrego Pvt. It was a lot of fun and we learned from each other in the brief and debrief as well. Looking forward to the next one.

Hey folks,

Once again, a very pleasant and educative 2 hours on PE. Host was late due to connectivity issues  , in fact, network was really acting up with audio and graphics this morning, but I think we all enjoyed the company and stellar SoCal scenery on such a beautiful day to fly :D

Thanks to Spenconk and BFG for the camaraderie and feedback - THIS is what it is all about :)

If you are at all intrigued by this kind of get together, PLEASE send me a PM with availability and preferred times to meet.

Stay tuned for another post with a new date and time for more Afterhours Closed Traffic on PE !

See you in the skies,

Jiva

Here 'tis: PilotEdge Discord server, https://discord.gg/ZW4DJMp

DIscord is a great tool for text or voice interactions with other members of a community. We've set up rooms for the I-ratings, CAT Ratings, sim-specific rooms (the DCS room has been getting used a lot as this server was originally for the PilotEdge DCS test group) and a general chat room. Have a look around and check it out. I'd highly recommend downloading the desktop and/or mobile apps, but you can dip your toe in the water with the web-based interface first.
