With 1 day to spare, it's time for the next PE monthly event!
Welcome to Eugene features San Jose (KSJC) as the departure airport with Eugene, OR (KEUG) as the destination.
Routing:
Type J/M RNAV Routing: LOUPE4.BMRNG HRNER EUG
Type J/M NON-RNAV Routing: LOUPE4.BMRNG SAC J126 EUG
Type P/Q Routing: SUNOL9.SAC V23 EUG
We will be focusing our additional ATC resources at SJC and Norcal Tracon during the departure phase and then relocate those controllers to Seattle Center, Cascade Approach and Eugene Tower as the jets begin to arrive at the destination.
For arrival planning purposes, KEUG normally lands south unless the winds are greater than 5kts out of the north.
On a side note, I'd like to welcome back Eugene Z to our controlling ranks. You'll be hearing a new voice on the radio soon, but some of our original pilots might recognize him!
