It's a rite of passage to miss events because of Zulu time conversions. I've seen it happen countless times in the past 15 years between PE and before that on VATSIM. Typically it'll happen once, then you'll be on the lookout for it.
Any time you see a zulu time which is early morning, that should raise a red flag that it translates to the DAY BEFORE in all the US timezones. A quick look at PE event logo (on the home page and all social sites) would've confirmed the US date/time, too.
