Not up-to-date charts

Post by Piotr »

I live in central Europe, shipping printed FAA charts here takes 2-3 weeks. I really like to have the printed charts rather than using electronic versions. I'm wondering how bad can it be to use previous edition charts until new arrives?

Depends on the change... I personally use aircharts.org, and you can print the charts you need right there.

Prat, you could always compare the airspace on the printed chart to the current charts on skyvector (or any other electronic source) and then commence your flight using the printed charts.
