Flying 2D Using Matrox 3H2G with One Monitor

Post by Calvin Waterbury »

I have been experimenting with fooling my video in XP9.70 by selecting the "Matrox" box at...
Settings >> Joystick Keys and Equipment >> Equipment
...the effect is the bitmap/panel shows in only the middle 1/2(?) of the screen leaving the left and right view open which helps significantly with "Situational Awareness." Another benefit, IMO, is it shows the whole panel which alleviates vertical scrolling and flying blind. Overall, I have been very pleased with this experience when flying 2D.

Has anyone tried this yet? Does anyone fly 2D panels anymore?
