Today I was listening to radio traffic using the PE Receiver. While listening, NorCal instructed an aircraft to head to the San Jose VOR (SCJ). The pilot reported that he wasn't receiving DME from SJC and his position in relation to SJC didn't make any sense. I just wanted to pass along something I discovered about a year ago. The X-Plane Aircraft Carrier uses the same frequency as the SJC VOR, which causes all the confusion.
You can turn off navy ships in X-Plane by going into the render settings and unchecking the option. If the above pilot was using X-Plane, I bet this was his issue.
