I've gotten PE installed with P3Dv2 and initial testing looked good. But, I received a "fatal error" from windows every time after exiting P3D.
The Problem Event Name was BEX and the Fault Module Name was FSUIPC4.dll_unloaded.
The DLL.XML file looked good, and I wondered if it had anything to do with the order of things.
In the fault scenario, the sequence of the 3 addons was: FSUIPC 4, PilotEdge Transponder, PilotEdge AI Control.
I changed it around to: PilotEdge Transponder, PilotEdge AI Control, FSUIPC 4
Once I did that, there were no crashes after exiting.
I changed it back to the original order to see if I could recreate the fault, and it faulted after exiting P3D every time.
Changed the order back so FSUIPC was last and no more crashes.
I'll be good to go, if I could just work out keeping the transponder on top and the audio. Seems to be even harder in P3D (than FSX) to get the audio routed correctly.

This issue stumped me for a couple of hours, until I found this post. Four months later, your findings helped me. Thanks very much indeed
