Mac OS10.8.5 CTD

Post by Steven Winslow »

Keith, I put the new PilotEdge folder into my plugins folder and removed the old VSPro files. I get an immediate crash to desktop when I try to start X-Plane V10 64 bit. Remove the PilotEdge folder and everything works fine. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to remove any other files?

MacBook Pro Retina
OSX 10.8.5

I see you've posted a new build. I'll download it and check it out.

Steve,

it's probably the same issue that was crashing 10.9.3. Grab the new download that was posted about 10 mins ago. (35MB instead of the 400MB one).

it was a voice issue on more modern versions of MacOS that only presents itself when a competing application opens the sound device before the voice code has a chance to do it. The fix was beyond painful to work out, but it should be good to go now.

Works like a charm now. Thanks! I'll have to give it a go tomorrow. Time for bed!
