Is anyone crashing like me?

I recklessly updated my only copy of X-Plane to the 10.30 beta because I was so excited about the functional 430/530, and now I'm crashing to desktop and even blue-screening before I can complete a flight. I also have multiple monitors and I've had trouble with other games so I'm wondering if it's my graphics card drivers or something unrelated to X-Plane.

Is anyone else experiencing this? I'm trying to exclude possible problems to isolate the root cause. Appreciate the feedback. And apologies to controllers from dropping off the network (usually N1068K). I've tried to stay away from PE until I can resolve it, and thought I had with a couple of successful off-network flights. But I crashed again today shortly after departure.

My system is Win7 64 bit with Nvidia (driver 337.88). The only add on is Xsaitekpanels and PilotEdge.

I have been using X-plane 10.30b5 for a couple of weeks now making several flights on PilotEdge. The issues encountered so far:
[*]BE58 flight model is too fast
[*]Frame rate hit was hard until I upgraded video cards,

I updated to 10.30b6 on Saturday and completed (2) flights on PilotEdge with no issues. The New GPS worked (as much as I understood it) and the Barron's BE58 flight model has been corrected. I also noted a slight improvement in fame rates.

But there is a new problem in the X-plane updater that on some systems causes 10.30b6 update to fail. More information:

So you see that my Win7 PC is very basic with almost zero add on software and all default planes but is giving very good results.

Might be helpful to include more details about your system as well as the X-plane log.txt file.

However.... I am also working on a Linux version. The experience hasn't been the same.

Finally it's actually quite easy to have multiple copies of X-plane on the same system. The only real cost is disk space which on many systems isn't a problem. Simply made a copy of the main X-plane directory and when the X-plane updater is run, select the correct directory. When I notice the BE58 performance difference between 10.30b5 and 10.25, it was quite handy to be able to easily switch back and forth.

The new X-plane GPS is interesting. The new 10.30b6 Beta includes the new GPS already added in several default planes. No longer a total DIY job.

Whenever you ask for help finding the cause of an X-Plane issue, you should always attach your log.txt file. We can only make guesses if we don't know where to start. The log.txt gives us a lot of information to work with and most often it provides us with the cause of the issue. Please post your log.txt.

Of course, thank you. I had looked at the log file and didn't see anything obvious and was just wondering if I was the only one having such issues. Below is the log.txt content if you can see anything I didn't notice (it wouldn't let me upload a txt file for some reason).

I have almost all settings peeled way back, getting 50-60 FPS when running. I had all but the default custom scenery removed. It's practically stock X-Plane 10.30b6 with only a few plug-ins that I've used for a long time without any problems. I was having this crashing issue before installing the new PE plug-ins.

On my flight today, I departed KSAN enroute KHHR via SANN7, IFR. I spent about 15-20 minutes in the sim and blue-screened just before reaching the OCN VOR.

Sometimes when facing a difficult problem it's best to start with the basic stuff and work up. I did notice that your version of Xsaitekpanels is a little old at 2.26. I'm running 2.30 on my Win7 PC. The latest version is 2.32. The change log does mention a few "bug" fixes.

Are you running the latest version of the PilotEdge client? There were a number of different versions posted shortly after the upgrade. I'm not seeing the same plugin load error that's present in your logs.

I also recall reading a forum post that stated there could be problems if the old and new PilotEdge client directory were accidentally merged. The recommendation was to delete the old pilotedge directory and copy the new directory in whole. Link to the posts follows:

Are you running the updated version of the addon Carenado aircraft?

Is the VSProPlugin a separate plugin? I'm not familiar with what it does. But obviously the usual questions come to mind. Are you running the latest version? What happens if it's removed (if possible)? What happens if re-installed?

If the problem still continues after the above suggestions, I'm basically a one trick pony. Time to call on the experts.

Thanks for the suggestions! I initially had the old PE plug-ins installed alongside the new but removed them afterwards. I'll upgrade the Saitek panels and check out the other suggestions. Appreciate the help!
