Introducing Hawkeye Flight Services - SoCal Ops on the PilotEdge Network

I recently posted a poll about how users wanted me to setup my network. Due to an overwhelming majority, I have set up all my planes to a Dry Lease rate lower than I could find in the SoCal area. I am still in the process of moving some of the planes to SoCal. I have placed a distance bonus on them to make it possible for FSE pilots to make a little money ferrying them to SoCal. (I have been busy acquiring Piper Comanches with the recent A2A release.  )

Wow dude you have an incredible amount of money in FS Economy! I am still ferrying passengers around in a Piper Cherokee 180 trying to get enough money to buy my own... Your list is epic! Can't wait to get the Commanche in my library. Thanks for letting us rent your a/c at discount.

BIG NEWS for Hawkeye Flight Services - SoCal Ops

I have acquired KLAS and KPSP for the PE network. I will be setting up flights between these 2, and include KSFO, KONT and KLGB for those wanting to fly on a little longer route. SkyWest flies CRJ's in and out of KSPS, so I plan to make a connection with the owners of KDEN and KPHX for regional jet flights for those interested.

First of all, congrats! I'm glad to see those went to a PE user.

Have you decided on the PAX limit that you'll generate those assignments at? It would be nice to see more 5 - 10 pax green jobs in the PE area. It makes it easier to fill larger aircraft with green jobs while avoiding the problem of booking fees eating away at all the profits.

Peter has done the math on this and you do better with single pax jobs until you reach 30 pax.

OK, that makes sense. I hadn't taken the time to actually calculate the difference between the loss of income for the extra pax in a group versus the the loss to booking fees. I'm not surprised since everything feels tuned to avoid giving the haves even more of an advantage over the have nots than they inherently have already in FSE. Thanks for clearing that up Keith.
