[Jul 31 1800-2100 PDT] July Event!

Post by Keith Smith »

It's time for the next monthly event! This month we feature Western US

Here are the city pairs for this one:
Jets and turboprops: Aspen to Denver (ASE-EGE)
Pistons: Eagle to Centennial (EGE-APA)

Be sure to carefully review the SIDs for your departure airport and enjoy the event!

Hmm

Don't like to be negative but if this is PDT then 2am UK on a workday is going to be a 'no show' for me.

What happened to last months announcement?

"Side note: we now have an event schedule in place for the next 12+ months. Expect more notice and more weekend events moving forward after this one!"

The event that was originally planned for earlier in July was moved because of Oshkosh.

I understand your frustration Dean, however, I did not promise that every event moving forward would be at a time that is compatible with the UK timezone. The new schedule alternates between Euro-friendly times and US evenings.

Do you have to have Western Expansion to participate in this event?

Yes, since the airports fall in the Western US coverage area.

We announced a while ago that events would alternate between ZLA and WUS.

Thanks Keith

I know you didn't promise that.

As a Uk subscriber I have to accept the limitations of your (natural) USA focus including the reduced service hours over here (4pm start).

Alternating months with US evenings sounds a good and fair compromise but they become impossible in the working week.

This is feedback not a complaint! Pilotedge is amazing and I recommend it to the Simming community very regularly.

Bit of a last minute question, but can we do VFR? I.e. planning on asking for a VFR departure out of EGE, being on my own for some scenic flight, and then picking up flight following once I get closer into APA.
