Is the ATC scope omniscient or realistic?
Is the ATC scope omniscient or realistic?
Just curious really - I was wondering if ATC have a scope impacted by line of site/distance/transponder status, or if (for the sake of making their jobs easier) it's pretty much a gods eye view of everybody?
Re: Is the ATC scope omniscient or realistic?
The scopes simulate everything regarding transponder status (so yes; make sure it’s turned on and to ALT), however there isn’t any form of a radar sweep or radar site therefore all hits are 100% accurate. There would be no benefit to the PE customers to having inadequate radar hits.
