AIRCRAFT TYPE

Post by jdoumak2@cox.net »

I am trying my first I-1 rating flight and the CD controller at KSNA said that I didn't fill in the aircraft type correctly on my flight plan. I filled in TBM for the type and in the equipment field next to it /G. He said that is incorrect and would not give me any more info. How can I find out my aircraft "type" for the TBM 930? It seems it takes four fields to fill in. TKS

TBM is not a valid FAA Aircraft Code. Aircraft codes can be found in the FAA JO 7360.1 document. https://www.faa.gov/regulations_policie ... ID/1036757
