Looks like you don't have the appropriate subscription.

Until today, everything was OK. What subscription do I need?

Have you seen
https://www.pilotedge.net/pages/pricing

You are probably at an airport outside your subscription area

The coverage areas are shown in yellow and green on the map on this page

Oh, I forgot about it! :D I'm novice. I located the plane in the corresponding subscription to my airport and now everything is OK. Now I will remember it. :D Thanks! Excuse me.

Location requires additional subscription - Same error message I'm receiving.

So what was the verdict?

Purchase the additional subscription, or connect in the coverage area in which you are subscribed.

Hello Kevin,

Thank you for picking up my message...glad to hear from you.

Enclosed is my current PLan - i Have have requested

Current Plan: PilotEdge ZLA-Only Monthly Membership subscription.

I have requested to change:

New plan will be: PilotEdge Western Expansion-Only Monthly Membership.

Now - the change in the plan will take effect at my next billing. A month from now???

Is this logical?

i live in China and I'm using VPN... Would it a be problem to access the platform.

Yes. There would be almost no point in having 2 different subscription areas if you could just flip back and forth at will. In order to gain immediate access, you would have to upgrade to the combined subscription. Otherwise, all lateral moves (ZLA>WUS or WUS>ZLA) occur at the end of your billing cycle.

Also I have no idea if a VPN will affect anything. Out of which airport are you trying to fly?

Hello Kevin,

The problem has been resolved. Keith explained it all to me. so now, I have a better understanding of how these memberships play out.

I think we are set for now. Thank you Kevin for helping out.

I will be taking off from this KOKB – KCRQ as soon as I arrive home this evening.

Best regards
PG
