Question for licensed pilots

Thanks again for the advice guys. I've re-read this a couple times, and with recent events I've gone and cancelled my training at the school. I've got another independent CFI lead because I want to stay on the ball. It's just not right for my instructor to tell me I'm ready pass a checkride, but the curriculum won't allow it.
