brief voice outage

The voice server was out for about 10mins as we transitioned over to the new license. Sorry for the interruption for the connected pilots. Pilots who are still online will need to disconnect and reconnect to fix the voice connection.

I was trying to contact ATC exactly at that time. I suggest for the future to send a chat message to the online pilots and/or pre-announce it on the forum. I was really frustrated...and after troubleshooting all my connections and trying several different frequencies I gave up shutting my sim down.

I was under the impression that atc sent a pm to each pilot. If not, that was our mistake.

This was not scheduled maintenance, the voice server shut itself down because its license didn't.self update.

We were frustrated by this as well.
