ATC audio being recorded
Re: ATC audio being recorded
This is a great learning resource. I'll admit I was the Mooney who made the erroneous call to Pt Mugu App at 12:20. I actually thought I was calling KNSI twr but simply got the freqs swapped (126.85 vs 128.65). Oops. Need to be more careful on the frequencies and no more calling military towers.

Dont forget that I become gods gift to ATC because I'm super busy and never stop talking lol.NM Doug wrote:This is great, Keith!
Of course, the net result of cutting out the silence is that my 172 effectively goes about mach 2

Re: ATC audio being recorded
Keith, I was listening to both recordings, very valuable learning material. Love it.
Just a quick question if you do not mind.
In the future, how will I be able to find the recording that refers to my flight only if I do not want to listen to the whole recording?
Cheers, AJ

AJ,
You'll be able to retrieve recordings by hour, so you can just pull the files that are for when you were flying. It will still have all other traffic mixed in (no way around that) but should be easy to "find yourself".

Tim, thank you, I know I will be able to find myself, my accent and speech speed makes me quite unique ...lol,lol,lol.
I do not mind at all hearing other transmissions just wanted to make sure I will be able to find the corresponding time interval. You guys are doing an outstanding job!
Cheers, AJ

Also note, this is a full day...the new interface will have hourly recordings to choose from.
