Re: ATC audio being recorded
Here are the daily files for January 10.
Jan 10 app/center (mp3)
Jan 10 del/gnd/twr (mp3)
Daily recorders were started about 2 1/2 hours late, so some of the morning traffic was missed (the hourly recorders caught it, though).
Noteworthy occurrences on these recordings so far:
16min 40sec (ctr recording), aircraft receives an airborne re-route on his IFR flight
25min 25sec (ctr recording), Seneca N132KT Charlie transition out of VNY, then gets help from ATC on verifying whether inside or outside the outer shelf of the Bravo.
36min: N132KT requests distance check from Goffs VOR as it wasn't being received (was still flying using guidance from HEC VOR). Turned out to be incorrect freq dialed in on the NAV1 radio.
36min 30sec: N132KT prop overspeed on right engine, emergency declared. Pilot workload is high keeping the airplane level and coordinated, seeks assistance in verifying the location of the destination airport.

Here are the daily files for January 11.
Jan 11 app/center (mp3)
Jan 11 del/gnd/twr (mp3)
Edit: I had a stuck mic again briefly at the start of the ctr recording, it doesn't last long.

Here are the daily files for January 12.
Jan 12 app/center (mp3)
Jan 12 del/gnd/twr (mp3)
Expect the hourly interface to be added to the main web site today. I'm not yet sure how/if we're going to handle the daily recordings.

Re: ATC audio being recorded
Just checked it out. Excellent job. One question, are these recordings going to be stored indefinitely? I guess not, what time frame of the oldest stored recordings are we looking at, one month?
Cheers, AJ

Re: ATC audio being recorded
Straight from the web site...
We might make this longer if needed. We'll see what kind of space they end up taking up. It looks like about 60MB per day based on current usage. The last 90 days of recordings are available, beginning with January 5, 2012.
