Something to not aspire to

This video highlights the importance of understanding the role of ATC, and why it's important to maintain a high level of situational awareness. Why this pilot thinks it's ok to tie up a clearly busy frequency for this length of time with this kind of chatter is beyond me:

It also implies that it might be possible to do your flight training in one part of the country, but be woefully unprepared to fly in busy airspace elsewhere. This is why it's a good idea to practice (either real life, or virtually) in busy airspace. That way, when the time comes to do it in real life, you won't be drinking from a fire hose.

Well, according to a very senior BAW 744 pilot from an c.80s documentary, ATC[ontrol] is only an advisory service!

In that airspace, the ATC composure is admirable, and recognized by the "g'luck" wishes from the heavy iron drivers.
She did a really nice job!

Wow! Takes a lot of balls to say "Maybe YOUR instruments are off." What an idiot!

Something tells me, this guy got a very official looking letter with some even more official letterhead on it.
