[Fri, Aug 31, 1900PDT] Servers unstable

The server is unstable right now and ATC can't stay connected for more a few seconds. Expect limited or no services until further notice.

Looks like the servers are getting a little more stable. ATC is currently online. Not sure if the issue is fully resolved yet, though.

I'm back from my trip and will find out if this is network based or something else. The only thing that comes to mind was an architectural change that was made to improve the distribution of pilot position reports.

Rest assured, this is a high priority issue that will be looked at closely this week. It's not lost on me that service uptime is critical.

Based on more detailed reports, it sounds like it was a bad week for the network at the office. While most of our company infrastructure runs on hosted equipment at a data center, the flight data server and voice server still reside at the office. That will change in the next few days.
