How do you program multiple way points for a flight plan? Can only get Direct to work, but cant get other page options.

I assume you're talking about MS Flight Sim 2004? The stock GPS is *extremely* limited. In flight, there is no way to edit a flight plan; you have to go to the sim's flight plan editor, and even then you're very limited in the fixes you can include. Here are three possible solutions for you:
1) Fly with only VOR and DME, like my grandpa did when he was alive and flying.
2) Go to SimRoutes.com to find a good, preferred route. Use the "Download Route" feature to import it into Flight Sim and it will show up in the GPS. Hope that your clearance isn't different from your filed route, because there's no way to change it.
3) Buy The Reality XP Garmin 430 for Flight Sim. It's $50 and worth every penny: http://www.reality-xp.com/flightsim/gns430/index.html.
