Keith,
No worries. Brit humour, or an attempt at it.
Her Brittanic Majesty will be amused once more & I am sure will recall HRH Harry (real cool guy) in his Apache gunship from seeking you out.
East Coast Fly in planning
Re: EAST COAST FLY IN!
Sounds like we have a regular Monty Python in our midst. Nee!
Re: EAST COAST FLY IN!
Got trapped in a big project and I'm not having time to proceed with the project right now, sorry.
If anyone else wants to take over please do so otherwise I will resume it as soon as I can.

Re: EAST COAST FLY IN!
Alex, sorry that you had to get involved in the project and have to stop guiding this thread. I saw 27 poll entries which tells me that there are many pilots interested.
I had to give up West Coast fly ins simply because they start at 5:00 PM EST which is just the time I can get home from work.
I believe that for East Coast guys we should start fly in at 7:00 PM EST which would translate to 0000Z.
The most voted days were Monday and Thursday so if we can establish the time now, we would be close to setting up our first East Coast Fly In.
What do you think, Gentlemen? Cheers, AJ

Re: EAST COAST FLY IN!
AJ,
I usually try to do things in a "super" way and I do not longer have that time for now.
However, if we pick a flight we can "test" the attendance one of those days, although Thursdays are better. 7:00pm EST it works for me.
To make it simple we could pick whatever Keith has in the Focus fields. It is great fun to have multiple airplanes present at the same time at the ATP and going all together somewhere.
For example KVNY-KPSP looks good. We can do VFR and see what happens!
How many of you are in? Maybe THU 24th?
Thanks to AJ for the re-sparkling!

Re: EAST COAST FLY IN!
I'm in. Although, KVNY-KPSP is an hour long flight at ~100 kts - do we want to start with something a little shorter, perhaps KVNY-L65, Perris Valley? 40-ish minutes, a couple class C transitions and ending at an untowered field where everyone has to communicate on the CTAF.

Just an idea, not that I'm averse to KVNY-KPSP.

I am in, Thursday 7:00 PM EST, 0000Z.
I prefer Jeff's suggestion to start with but I will fly anything you guys want. Cheers, AJ
