Ok guys - I'm sorted and all is tried and tested!Andrew737 wrote:I have done all this; now when I reboot the yoke icon is green and when I test in the profile editor everything seems to work - will test it out on the network tommorow EARLY! when the network is quieterPieces wrote:If you have the software running do this:
- Click on the icon in the task bar (looks like a little yoke)
- Click "Profile Editor" in the menu
- Click "Programming in the upper right of the window
- Press the joystick button you want to assign - it should highlight in the software
- Click on the box, then press the keyboard key you want assigned.
- Press the little checkmark
- Save the profile
- Make sure the profile is active (from the task bar icon).
I do have a small problem though, and hope a re-install of the software will not be required?!
On boot up a pop up box appears with the text:
saitek profiler does not contain a profile for this device this device has not been profiled
But I am sure as can be (until trying) that the profile is there and loaded.
A heads up for anyone who may experience the above problem:
I saved a profile for the yoke in the Profile Editor, I then selected that profile to be the yokes start up profile - so far so good! The problem was, somewhere along the line, I also set the 'yokes' profile to be the startup profile of the USB TQ too; once this was 'un set' all was fine - yoke working and NO error messages
Thank you all
