Here's a link to airport scenery for L52 - Oceano County made by Andrew Cook of Air Northwest Virtual Airlines. This scenery is not to be posted anywhere else and is provided solely for the use of PilotEdge pilots. Please abide by Andrew's wishes. Thanks!

Here's a scenery I whipped up in Overlay Editor for KEED - Needles. The stock X-Plane airport layout was pretty close, but I added some concrete and asphalt. This is not precisely accurate, but it is a fairly good representation of the airport photo at Google maps. You must have OpenSceneryX installed and if you want the flags to wave, you must have the CustomSBDatarefs004 plugin installed (available at http://www.xpluginsdk.org/misc_plugins.htm )

The scenery packs from X-planes Scenery.com have been reposted here:

Scenery is free and requires the OpenScenery pack.

I also added a very cool KEDW map for folks to meet at.

Hello,
I was curious on this thread it says that KVNY has been updated, but I can't seem to find the file anywhere for this. Does anyone have this that I can get?

Thanks!

Dunno. I have a nicely done KVNY map, but I musta downloaded it from x-plane.org. Since I'm perma-banned from the org I can't even look it up (and my simulator is down for reimaging for a few days.)

I followed the instruction on Adams site. However with xplane 10 I get all the scenery but I lost all taxiway signage?

Any ideas why this would happen and how to fix it?

Brett,

Did you find the updated KVNY apt.dat file? I've been looking for it forever as I want to build custom scenery on it but don't want to duplicate the massive amount of WED work.

Dunno, I am still a couple days away from integrating my custom scenery and airplane archive into xp10. I'll post something when I get there. My sim is in pieces right now as I add the new pedals, aviosim, W7, and xp10. After that I need to trace wires and figure out why my pitot heat stays on.

I have no custom scenery installed, and have full taxiways and signage at VNY. The current, stock apt.dat file should contain a detailed layout for VNY (no terminal buildings, though, of course).

That's weird, my default apt.dat file doesn't have any taxi markings whatsoever for VNY. I'm on v9.71.
