Just wanted to say thank you to all the pilots that flew tonight. I think on the scope side we were in the mindset of "It's Easter, no one will be online."
Well as one of the three controllers working tonights NorCal focus flight. I can say we were DEFINATELY proven wrong.
I started the evening out at OAK_CTR(Handling all of NorCal Approach) then by about 8:30PST, I was ready for a break and moved down to ZOA_GND then back up to ZOA_TWR to finish the night.
Thank you to the pilots who came out and made it a night that was fun and even got me to break a sweat with all the frequency movement, practice approaches, VFR traffic advisories, Drones moving across the sky and even Class Bravo transitions.
Again, pleasure seeing you move around on my scope! Even if a few of you got mighty close to some VFR Drones but we will keep that between us unless tapes are reviewed!
PS: Thanks to Keith and Anthony who worked the scope with me!
Thanks To The Pilots Easter Night
