Forgot to mention that 1.3.1 also adds 25Khz spacing for the Garmin 530 radio.

I use Seattle Avionics' FlyQ EFB, which works very nicely with X-Plane. I thought I'd try the new traffic option in the new plugin v1.3.1. So, setting the .ini file as suggested for ForeFlight, I was delighted to see the PilotEdge traffic appear on the iPad in FlyQ. However, it also induced a pop-up showing it was connected to the flight simulator, and this message popped in and out, and somewhat froze FlyQ. Before I chase Seattle Avionics on this, I thought I'd ask if ForeFlights' implementation is totally smooth and seamless.

Yes, ForeFlight is smooth and seamless. No problems.

Thanks Rod. I'll ask Seattle Avionics whether this is fixable! It's not a major problem really, though.

Re: X-Plane plugin v1.5.0 released

1.5.0 (Jul 20, 217)
- added VHF modulation
- added asynchronous loading of CSLs (they load in the background instead of pausing the sim during the load when they're first encountered)
- added dynamic unloading of CSLs when last instance of an aircraft is no longer within range (reduces VRAM footprint)
- removes all CSls from memory when disconnecting from network
- motion code is more precise

Loving v1.5.0.

My PE ATC sound volume is too low, though, relative to the built-in ATIS sound volume in X-Plane. I cannot seem to get both sound volumes levelled. Any advice?

It was released at the same time as the PC and Linux build, all in the same distribution.

The volume of PilotEdge in X-Plane is the product of the RADIOS volume (in the X-Plane sound menu), combined with the individual COM1 and COM2 volumes. The stock radio panels tend to not have individual volume controls, but Reality XP DOES support COM1 and COM2 volume knobs, so be sure to check those as well as the RADIOS volume in the xplane sound settings.
