[Dec 14, Sat 1130am PST] KLSV pattern work
Fast Jet VFR pattern work
Runway 3L
Pattern alt 3000 ft ASL
UNICOM/Tower 132.55
I have a student who will be practicing airport pattern work and touch and goes in the F-4 Phantom simulator at Nellis AFB. We will be on the Nellis Tower Frequency for CTAF, and use no tower procedures.
I hope to have him airborne by 1130am PST, that will depend on him showing up on time, there being no sim problems, etc.
After 4 pm a friend is going to try and join us from a 2nd sim.

He is a college aero engineering student who wants to be a fighter pilot. He had no flight experience before the F-4 sim and has focused on perfecting his pattern work and touch and goes. His goal is to work up to ATC flights into and out of the gun range to get a head start on flying fighters.
He also taking general aviation ground school classes.

that's a sign that you don't have a recording device enabled (ie, no headset connected). Cryptic error message, I know, I gotta get that polished up.

Thats good to know!
Attached is a pic of my student. We had two T-38's and a King Air join us for the pattern work.

Awesome, thanks for posting. I think I looked at the map and saw 1 live T-38 in addition to the 2 T-38 drones in the pattern. I'm sure that made for an interesting experience!

At one point we had the 2 drone T-38s and a live king air flying 3L pattern with a live F-4, T-38, and the drone F-15 flying 3R. That made for great parallel approaches.
