Hi, just tried installing the pilot edge client and I get this message, whether p3d is running or not: 'The application has failed to start becuse its side by side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log or use the command line sxstrace.exe tool for more detail'. I have pe installed in its own directory on my non os drive, and i am not running p3d as admin, any ideas?

Re-install the Pilot Client using Keith's instructions here: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=1556&p=26260#p26225

It solved the error for me by installing the correct simconnect version.
