Post by Vincent Meier »

To anyone using SimAVIO with X-plane 10.30

SimAVIO error: "UDPInterface Failed TYPE LENGTH, OPARRAY bus1_volt SimAVIO cannot continue"

Fly This Sim patch for error:
X-Plane 10.30 Users - IMPORTANT!!!

X-Plane made many changes, bug fixes, and new features to this release.
To continue compatibility with your installation of SimAVIO, a couple of simple modifications must be made. Below is a breakdown of how to apply this fix. Make sure to close both Xplane and SimAVIO
1. Download udpdata.txt from http://fts.swmirror.com/20f1a
2. Set your Windows to show hidden files and folders. In Windows 7, open file explorer, press the ALT key. Select “Tools”, Folder Options, View, and select “Show Hidden Files and Folders”. The process for Windows 8 & 8.1 is similar.
3. Replace the existing file udpdata.txt in C:\Program Data\SimAvio\Library. When you are prompted to either rename or replace the file, select “Replace”.
4. Replace the udpdata.txt located in \X-plane\Resources\Plugins\FTS interface. Again, when you are prompted to either rename or replace the file, select “Replace”.
5. Restart X-plane 10.30 and SimAVIO.

We will have the fix in the next release of SimAVIO coming soon.
