Smartcopilot and Windows 8.1

Howdy

Anyone have Smartcopilot and Windows 8.1 working together? I recently installed 8.1 and Smartcopilot no longer loads on sim start, its not in the plugins list.

I downloaded it again and copied the licence file into the plugin folder. Any ideas? Every other plugin works just fine.

Thanks, never thought to look in the log.

There was an Error Code = 126 : The specified module could not be found

This led me to here viewtopic.php?f=12&t=2440 and the fix which is to
install the necessary Visual C++ package from here http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download ... x?id=14632

It did, thanks.

It was the only issue I encountered so far with 8.1, and it was not really an 8.1 issue I guess.
Everything working very well, I dunno if its placebo but the colors in X-Plane 10 look more vivid than before.
Maybe the GPU driver is optimized better for 8.1, I dunno.
