It's totally doable. The simplest thing to do, believe it or not, would be for the slung load to connect as a drone. I know that sounds crazy, but that could be done with no change in the protocol.

When I saw Chris' stream in the 407 with him trying to get sling loads workin', I gave it a try in the jetranger and got it up and going, I quickly had the same thought, Ken...but up until writing this post, I hadn't put together the best way to do it.

Alternatively, I could do a second form of position reports for the slung loads. As infrequently as it will be used as a feature, having it connect as a drone might be the way to go.

I purchased the 407 this weekend and have already started on a livery. I like how the 407 flies but painting it is no easy task.
