Hi guys,
Right this isn't strictly just related to just FS Economy but it will most like affect pilots who use FSE on the network. I'm proposing to create a strategy to get scenery created for all the airfields in the coverage area. Now I realise that is an awful lot of sceneries to create but I propose to split the task up between us. First job would be to formulate a list of every single airport and private strip in the coverage area. Then get a list people who are willing an able to create Xplane scenery. Thirdly would be to split up all the required sceneries between us and then keep a central store with a spreadsheet so we can tick off the ones that are done.
What do people think of this as an idea?

Soon, I will be uploading X-Plane sceneries for:
33CA
KPTV
KHJO

I personally will be only using standard and Openscenery objects

Here's everything in the PE coverage area. Queried from my own database, data sourced directly from the FAA and the X-Plane scenery gateway. Columns should be obvious, except "scenery_score" which is my own secret recipe to determine how "important" a facility is and "has_scenery" for if 3D scenery already exists for the facility in the X-Plane gateway. Feel free to copy it. Note that a lot of facilities are heliports.
I would highly recommend that any scenery you create should be published to the scenery gateway so that it's released in future versions of X-Plane and people don't have to go hunting for it, download it, and install it manually. Note this limits you to only using objects included with X-Plane by default, but it's still possible to create fairly accurate airport representations within that limit.

I've been slowly creating scenery for the Gateway whenever I fly somewhere that doesn't have scenery (usually in conjunction with FSE). Most are in Socal.
