Hello, I was just at the ramp at KVNY and tuned the ATIS on 127.55 but it was silent. Is there no ATIS at Van Nuys?

Try 118.45. Looks like that's what it was until a year ago. Foreflight still lists both frequencies.

Alternatively, you can use the ATIS player at MyFlightRoute if you're using real world weather: http://myflightroute.com/atisplay.php

Some sim frequencies can be outdated, depending on the source of the data.
