I. I am looking for someone like me, who have successfully flown IFR AND VFR, but;
A. Are not as good as they want to/should be, and want more socially oriented training and;
B. wants to further their love of aviation and learning in a shared environment...one who;
1. Wants to kibitz, about nothing in particular but;
a.especially enjoys aviation/simming conversation while we experiment with SKYPE and simming together.
b. GA OR TUBELINERS have no priority
c. IFR/VFR have no priority but;
d. Flight planning AND willingness to adhere to all FAA Regs Using;
e. All the appropriate charts and checklists ...SHOULD BE A PRIORITY.

II. DOWN SIDE
A. you cannot be hands on FO with Skype.

III. UPSIDE
A. Instead of hands on, you will be the FO EYES, EARS, BRAIN in the cockpit, conversing and advising and participating in all intellectual phases of the flight by;
B. Enjoying the view and;
1.requesting any view that helps you do your job as FO and;
a. Sharing ANY Cockpit in ANY sim via Skype shared-screen as;
1. passenger/Advisor and then;
2. Swaping roles and be PIC to my hands-off FO as in "III.A" above.

IV. I suggest 1 hour pre-flight planning/briefing Max and 1-2 hour Flights Max.

V. We should also explore other means of sharing in P3d/FSx or X-plane.
A. E.g. Shared 737 cockpit.

VI. CAVEAT
A. Shared screen via Skype represents absolute minimum or Almost NO security concerns however;

B. Any form of shared cockpit involves the transmission of data both ways, and as such, presents a security risk unless common sense measures are taken to assure the data integrity of both partners...yes...I am talking viruses and ever increasing malware whose intrusions can infect connected shared cockpit partners....see http://cf.cdn.vid.ly/a2q2y0/Himp4.mp4?t ... ccedf8b763 ... OVPA has the most rational and exciting possibilities I have seen. While it's certainly not necessary to join especially for our "Skype Flights", I believe their security procedures are the way to go. This is OVPA's home page http://ovpa1.webs.com .

I prefer the Flight models of my payware:
Turbine Duke
Lancair legacy
Majestic Q-400
PMDG 737/777
Caranado TBM 850

and my dynamic weather via Active Sky 16
And my Orbx Scenery
for Prepar3d v3

thus the SKYPE leaning

Thanks,
