I've recently gotten back into FS after quite the hiatus. I'd like to thank PE for that.

I'm running FSX on a Dell I bought 8 years ago -

Core i7 2.8GHz
12GB RAM
GTX260 1792MB DDR3

Occasionally I run into trouble such as the monitor flickers and goes white. The sim doesn't crash, but remains unusable.

I know myriad things can affect FSX but this did not happen before a forced "upgrade" to Win10.

I'm planning on upgrading my equipment but in the meantime I'm hoping someone might have a suggestion.
