P3Dv3 and P3Dv4 on same hard drive

I have had PE working great with P3Dv3 and now have installed P3Dv4 on same hard drive and can't get PE working with p3Dv4. Is it bc they are both on the same drive? Any suggested workarounds to this? I'd rather have PE working with v4 from here on....

When you say you can't get it working with P3Dv4, what is happening, exactly?
P3Dv4 users have reported issues with the vip.sms and sb.sms modelsets with v4, so I recommend taking those out of play by renaming those files in the PilotEdge\aircraft folder to .bak extensions.
