Time for the next monthly event! SAN-SBA for jets/turboprops and MYF-SBA for pistons/turboprops

This is a ZLA point to point event with 2 different departure airports (based on type) and a single arrival airport. As always, feel free to fly VFR or IFR for the event.

As with all events, dedicated staffing for each airport will begin coming online around 5-10 mins before the event start. As a result, please don't call for clearance prior to the event start time. The event start time is not a wheels up time, or time to start taxiing. Take your time, enjoy, watch some departures and have some fun!

Mandatory IFR Routes:
SAN-SBA
Type J RNAV: CWARD2 CWARD AVOLS V208 VTU VTU282 KWANG - 10000
Type J Non-RNAV: PEBLE6 SXC V208 VTU VTU282 KWANG - 10000
Type M RNAV: CWARD2 CWARD AVOLS V208 VTU VTU282 KWANG - 8000
Type M Non-RNAV: PEBLE6 SXC V208 VTU VTU282 KWANG - 8000

MYF-SBA
Type PQ: OCN V23 LAX V299 VTU VTU282 KWANG - 6000
M RNAV: CWARD2 CWARD AVOLS V208 VTU282 KWANG - 8000
M NON-RNAV: MZB293 V27 SXC V208 VTU VTU282 KWANG - 8000

X-Plane 11.5x beta users, please do not enable Vulkan if you plan to fly during the event. The current PE plugin does not support the API (a known, published issue) and it will be very disruptive if you cannot see any traffic at all during the event, particularly on the ground at airports with 30+ aircraft.

2 things...

1. Can you please verify the date? Doubt it's March 25th.
2. (For those on 11.50 Xplane beta) Any chance the update to see traffic will be done in time? I know, I know I shouldn't have upgraded but, couldn't hurt to ask :)

Traffic is working in 11.50, just not if you're running Vulkan. I'm patiently waiting for Vulkan compatibility, but I did see traffic last time I flew in OGL on the beta.

I am an idiot, though, and if I want to bring my 172 in VFR, which routing would I use from MYF? I don't understand the "type" designation.

Question: are you saying that PilotEdge traffic can't be seen when using Vulcan?

Thanks.

If you're VFR, the routing and altitude is entirely up to you. The routes provided are for IFR traffic.

Is the event there and back or just one-way?
