Enroute status for ever...

I have tried FSE tonight, thank to Keith's and Eugene's posts installation went fine and was able to start flying on PE using FSE.
I completed the flight, shut the plane down, applied brakes and waited and waited and waited, my status on FSE page was and still is enroute.....
Is there anything simple I am doing wrong?

X-Plane - Make sure your engine is off, and your brakes are full on (v key is default, I believe).

FSX - Engine off, parking brake on (ctrl .)

In Xplane, I had to use my mouse to click on the "Breaks" button on the cockpit panel to finish the flight. The keyboard button for breaks didn't do it for some reason.

Thank you gentlemen, I will try it tonight. Very weird, I would thinks brakes are breaks, if they are on, no matter how I activate them. Maybe my brakes were not set to full.

Use the 'v' key to set the parking brake in xplane. Pull the mixture on all engines. That will do it.

I read up on this and have had a few flights not close out. In the docs it says you may have to wait for hours for it to log.

I let it go for long periods wiothout success and will not try that method again.

FYI.

That section of the FAQ is talking 1/100000 flights. Normal ops should be instantaneous. I have to experience with X-Plane so I wish I could be more helpful.
